Air France Launches Service to Seattle in March

From 25th March 2018, Air France will offer a direct service from Paris to Seattle, USA. The airline will offer up to five flights per week between the two cities utilising a Boeing 777-200 equipped with between 280 and 312 seats. Passengers will also be able to connect to onward destinations with Air France's airline partner, Delta Air Lines.

Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and SundaysFlight AF338 departs Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:30, touching down in Seattle at 14:20. Flight AF355 leaves Seattle at 16:30, landing in Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:10. 

The Boeing 777-200 aircraft features the latest long-haul cabins in Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. Business Class features seats that convert into 2 metre-long fully flat beds, as well as power outlets, reading lamps, noise cancelling headsets and extra storage space for laptops and personal belongings. Customers are provided with "comfort and well-being kits" containing toiletries and Clarins skin treatments.

The new Seattle route is expected to be a popular with business travellers, since the Emerald City has booming industrial and technological sectors and is home to corporate giants such as Microsoft and Boeing.

During the 2017-18 winter season, Air France will serve 12 destinations in the USA from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.

The joint venture between Air France-KLM, Alitalia and Delta Air Lines allows customers to access more than 270 destinations via the network's US hubs and over 215 destinations throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America via the network's European hubs.
