Lufthansa Launches New Business Class Amenities

German airline Lufthansa has introduced a new "Dream Collection" of amenities for Business Class passengers travelling on select long haul flights of 10 hours or more.

Passengers will receive a new pillowcase, a large blanket and a comfortable mattress topper, as well as a new sleep shirt from Van Laack if travelling on overnight flights.

The soft and padded mattress topper was developed exclusively for Lufthansa by renowned German bed manufacturer "Paradies". The upper side is made of 100 percent cotton and the underside is made of non-slip Terry cloth, which enables air flow and prevents an accumulation of heat. 

The blanket and pillow have been designed to provide warmth and comfort and feature Lufthansa's new brand design. Since Lufthansa is making strong efforts to become more environmentally friendly, the plastic packaging of the blanket has been replaced by a paper banderole. 

The Dream Collection is launching on flights to and from South Africa, Latin America and South America, as well as the West Coasts of the USA. It will then be successively introduced on all other long-haul flights. Select Asian flights will feature the collection from June and the rest will receive the new pillows and blankets from Autumn onwards.
